Bushtracker has been building custom off-road caravans on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland since 1995, making it one of Australia’s longest-running dedicated off-road caravan manufacturers. The company was founded by off-road enthusiasts who saw a need for caravans that could genuinely handle Australia’s toughest terrain while offering real comfort and quality. For 30 years, Bushtracker has maintained its focus on bespoke, custom-built off-road caravans.

Every Bushtracker is meticulously handcrafted using aircraft-grade aluminium frames and military-grade suspension. There is an active Bushtracker Owners Group (BOG).

Ownership & Structure

Family-owned and operated. The company maintains a single factory focus rather than expanding through franchise or dealer models. Matthew Kurvink is listed as a current director. The Bushtracker Owners Group (BOG) is a registered association with over 430 members, operating its own website (bogmuster.au) and annual musters. Multiple Facebook groups serve the community: Bushtracker Owners Group, Bushtracker Caravan Owners Family, and Bushtracker Owners - Mods & Maintenance.

Manufacturing

All caravans are custom-built to order at the flagship factory in Kunda Park on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast (85 Enterprise Street). The factory employs over 60 staff with approximately 20 vans in various stages of production at any time, turning out roughly six vans per month. Construction features aircraft-grade aluminium framing, fully independent suspension, and each van is built to the buyer’s specific layout and specification requirements.
