About Evernew Caravans

Background

Evernew Caravans was founded in 1963 by 19-year-old Bruce Bailey, who joined his father selling new caravans from the front yard of their rented property on Bell Street, Heidelberg Heights, Melbourne. They purchased brand new caravans with plywood sides and aluminium roofs from a local Heidelberg manufacturer, branding them “Evernew” and selling them to eager buyers. Over the decades, Evernew evolved from a reseller into a respected custom caravan builder, becoming the oldest custom caravan builder in Melbourne.

The company celebrated its 60th anniversary with the RTX60 model, which won Best Build Quality and Best Couples Caravan awards at Caravan of the Year 2024. In recent years, Evernew has been at the forefront of innovation, developing a gas-less caravan design that eliminates the need for LPG gas entirely.

Ownership & Structure

In 2017, Dani Bib purchased the Evernew business, and along with his wife, two sons, and daughter-in-law, took over the brand. The Bib family had a clear aim to provide a fresh perspective to the caravan market while retaining the heritage, quality, and brand loyalty that the original founders had built over decades. The company remains family-owned and operated.

Manufacturing

All Evernew caravans are custom-built at their factory in Melbourne. The company specialises in off-road caravans, manufacturing each unit on-site to exact customer specifications. Their approach is to build with care and take time to implement changes, resulting in high-end builds with well-thought-out features. On Facebook, the company has a 100% recommendation rating from 15 reviews, reflecting the quality-focused manufacturing approach.

Market Position

Evernew sits firmly in the premium custom-build segment of the Australian caravan market. The company has over 60 years of heritage, builds custom to owner specifications, and has built a gas-less caravan. Pricing reflects the premium positioning. Key model lines include the RTX series (RTX28, RTX35, RTX40, RTX60) and the E900/E2000 series.
