Background

Red Centre Caravans was created by Dean Goudie, who began in the caravan industry at age 15 with an apprenticeship in panel beating in his hometown of Rutherglen, Victoria. After building extensive experience and friendships through the industry, Goudie decided to build his own brand of caravans the way he wanted, with the inclusions he wanted. Red Centre is based in Somerton, Victoria (Melbourne).

The brand takes a quality-over-quantity approach, producing only 6 to 8 caravans per week. Every van is meticulously hand-built from start to finish in their Melbourne factory, with all framework done by their own employees rather than contractors, in-house electrical wiring and plumbing, and cupboard doors and furniture made on-site.
