About Trakmaster
Background
Trakmaster was founded in 1995 by Russell Seebach and Craig Miles following outback expedition experience in 1993-94 that revealed the limitations of existing caravan designs for remote Australian travel. The company pioneered TrakAir airbag suspension technology and is now part of the TRACK Group (Australian family-owned, which also owns Track Trailer).
Manufacturing
All caravans are manufactured at their Bayswater North, VIC facility. Models include Pilbara, Pilbara S, Pilbara Extreme, Simpson, and Explorer. Key features include proprietary TrakAir suspension, hot-dip galvanised chassis, and purpose-built off-road engineering. They are RVSA compliant and maintain a national dealer network across all states and territories. Warranty covers 3 years on body/build and 5 years on chassis/suspension.
Market Position
Trakmaster builds dedicated off-road caravans. The company has nearly 30 years of off-road caravan history and its own suspension design. Part of the same TRACK Group that owns Track Trailer.
